A: Testosterone is a hormone produced primarily in the testicles. It plays a crucial role in many aspects of male health, including muscle mass, bone density, sex drive, and mood.o this item.
A: Symptoms of low testosterone can vary, but some common signs include decreased sex drive, erectile dysfunction, fatigue and low energy levels, loss of motivation, loss of muscle mass and strength, decreased bone density, mood swings, and memory problems.
A: Low testosterone is diagnosed through a combination of blood tests that measures your testosterone levels and symptoms
A: The most common treatment for low testosterone is testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). This involves using testosterone in the form of injections, patches, gels, or pellets to bring your testosterone levels back to normal. Your provider may also recommend lifestyle changes, such as losing weight or quitting smoking, to help improve your testosterone levels.
A: When treating Low-T using testosterone, every patient can differ on the time that it takes to notice differences. Most men notice changes on weeks 3-4 with mental cognition increasing, and a decrease in the late afternoon fog that clouds your thoughts. On weeks 6-8, energy levels start to increase and by week 16, you should be at your optimal dose and notice improvement in most, if not all, symptoms.
A: Hairloss or acne - this is usually caused by excess testosterone. We will work to gradually increase your dose just enough to reach optimization.
